Frequently Asked Questions
We know you’ve got this, but you might have a question or two. Take a look below to find some answers. If you have other questions, be sure to talk to your doctor.
A specialty pharmacy distributes medications for people with serious health conditions requiring complex therapies. The complexity of these medications may be due to the way they are administered, their side effects, or the conditions they are used to treat.
As you go through the prescription process, remember: your Nurse Ambassador is here to help. Get in touch by calling 1.800.2RINVOQ (1.800.274.6867).
It is important to take your medication as prescribed. If you miss a dose, give your doctor a call. He or she can walk you through what to do next.
RINVOQ should be stored in the original bottle between 36°F and 77°F (between 2°C and 25°C) to protect it from moisture. Keep RINVOQ and all medicines out of the reach of children.
Connect with your Nurse Ambassador or one of our Insurance Specialists to help you navigate the insurance process. You may receive a comprehensive summary of insurance benefits, including out-of-pocket costs for RINVOQ, or information about the insurance process, including appeals.
Changing to a different plan, or changes within your current plan, can lead to disruptions in coverage if you’re not prepared.
Things to consider:
- What medical expenses do you anticipate for the upcoming year?
- Are your current doctors, hospitals and other medical facilities in the plan’s network?
- Are there limits on coverage for certain conditions?

Here’s your health plan checklist:
- What’s covered
- Make sure your preferred doctors, hospitals and medical services are within the plan’s network.
