Identify Uncontrolled

PsA Symptoms

Ongoing symptoms could mean your PsA is getting worse

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) affects everyone differently:

  • Symptoms you may think are related to aging or just feeling unwell, may actually be connected to PsA (even if you’re on treatment)
  • Certain symptoms can be signs of uncontrolled inflammation and worsening PsA

That’s why it’s important to address any new or worsening symptoms with your doctor right away—to avoid the risk of further disease progression and long-term impact.

If you’ve been on a TNF blocker and have any of the symptoms below, make an appointment to talk to your doctor as soon as possible. It could mean you need to switch from your current medication to one that works differently.

HUMIRA® and ENBREL® are examples of TNF blockers.

ENBREL® (etanercept) is a registered trademark of Immunex Corporation in the US.

Know when it’s time to ask for a treatment change

Still have new or worsening symptoms after 3 months on a TNF blocker like HUMIRA® or Enbrel®? Instead of trying another TNF blocker, switching to RINVOQ, a treatment that works differently, may help.

RINVOQ is a JAK (Janus kinase) inhibitor that regulates your overactive immune system and works inside your cells to block certain signals that are thought to cause inflammation.

ENBREL® (etanercept) is a registered trademark of Immunex Corporation in the US.

RINVOQ is for adults with active psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in whom TNF blockers did not work well.
